Nice to meet you! 

Born and raised in Sicily, our private cook and founder Alessia, developed a love for food from a young age.

Contrary to the general belief, her family did not pass any traditional recipes or secrets. On her own, she started to taste, try and look for genuine ingredients in a land rich of choices.

Moved to London 2013 where she found a new food scene. Surrounded by the variety of world kitchens the capital would offer, she began to experience new fusions which where not known in her native land.

In 2019 she trained at Leiths School of Food and Wine, where she refined her skills and learnt new recipes.

Meanwhile she started training. Her passion for food and healthy life style made her combine the two hobbies, producing healthy but tasty meals. She did not want to eat plain, but wanted to develop recipes that tasted as good but without feeling guilty. In 2020 she joined Leiths again, this time to apply her nutrition in culinary practice skills.

Her postpartum journey, from gaining 32 kg to losing it all in 11 months, inspired her to start Nutritional Kitchen.
